A MAN in his 50s has been attacked by two men and a woman in south Belfast.

The assault happened in the Donegall Pass area, near the junction with Posnett Street, on Monday at around 6pm.

A PSNI spokesman said the assailants are believed to have travelled to the area in a dark coloured car, at around 6pm.

The victim suffered a fractured eye socket and a fractured arm.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
