THE funeral of a Co Antrim father-of-two who was found dead in Spain last month will take place on Friday.

Conor McCollum, who was from Cushendall and understood to have been based in the Torrevieja area of Alicante, died "without warning" on November 22.

Mr McCollum, who was in his thirties, was a nephew of prominent former Antrim hurling player and manager Terence McNaughton and had played amateur soccer in his youth for Carnlough United.

Requiem Mass for Mr McCollum will take place at 12Noon at the Church of St Patrick and St Brigid, Glenariff with burial afterwards in the Bay Cemetery.
