AN Irish model who found romance on ITV 2 reality show Love Island has said things between the pair are "really, really good" despite them not having made the relationship official.

Longford woman, Maura Higgins and professional dancer, Curtis Pritchard were asked about the status of their relationship during an appearance on This Morning on ITV yesterday.

However, during the interview with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, it emerged that the couple, who left the Majorcan villa together in July, are not yet official.

On being asked about the status of their relationship, dancer, Curtis also revealed he had not yet asked Maura to be his girlfriend, adding that he was "not going to do it on TV".

Maura, who said she did not need to advertise their romance online, said things between the pair are "going really, really good" adding that they had not yet had "one argument since leaving the villa."

"It's just because we don't put everything on social media. We don't have to prove to other people that we're together," said the 28-year-old.

"We know we're happy, so that's all that matters. A lot of the islanders have seen each other a lot more".
