FOUR people escaped injury today after a wheelie bin was pushed up against the door of a flat in Co Tyrone and set alight.

The attack took place around 3am in the Lisnahull Park area of Dungannon.

A police spokesperson said officers were on the scene before the fire brigade and managed to extinguish the blaze.

A spokesperson for the NI Fire and Rescue Service said one appliance attended the incident and that the premises had been evacuated by police before firefighters arrived.
