THREE men, aged 58, 32 and 25, were arrested after a woman was dragged from a car and assaulted.
The 30-year-old woman was driving at St Brecan’s Park in the Waterside area of Derry when the incident occurred. A police spokesman said a second woman, aged 20, was also injured when she intervened in the incident which occurred on Sunday between 6.35pm and 6.45pm.
Both women were treated in hospital for their injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening. The three men were released on police bail pending further inquiries.
