A pizza delivery driver had a knife held to his face during a robbery in Ballymena.

The man was targeted in the Lanntara area of the town at around 2.30am yesterday.

Police said he was approached by two men, one armed with a knife, who "assaulted him and held the knife close to his face".

The pair escaped with cash, a pizza hot box and two pizzas.

The driver suffered minor injuries to his face and hands.

The men, who were wearing tracksuits, were described as being aged in their mid-twenties.
