A 21-year-old man arrested after a road was blocked and missiles were thrown at police in Co Fermanagh has been released pending further enquiries.

The man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including riotous behaviour, obstructing police, arson and criminal damage after police received calls that material was being placed in the Cornagrade Road in Enniskillen by a group of people who were attempting to put it on fire.

When police arrived on the scene missiles were thrown at officers.

The blaze was later put out by firefighters.
