THE daughter of a man found dead at a house in Dunmurry last week along with his partner, has told how she will never "get over this heartbreak".

Sam Gibson was found dead in an upstairs room of the house in Woodside Drive in Poleglass where he lived with his partner Cathy Cosgrove.

The mother-of-three, who was in her 40s, was discovered by her teenage son who raised the alarm at around 11am on Thursday.

A short time later the body of Mr Gibson was found in an upstairs bedroom.

Two ambulance crews were dispatched to couple's Poleglass home but they both were declared dead at the scene.

Toxicology tests are still being carried out to establish the exact cause of the deaths.

Cara Gibson, who lives in Canada, posted a tribute to her father on Facebook saying: "I wish I could turn back time and tell you just how much you meant to me".

It is understood that Mr Gibson had been planning to visit his daughter and grandchildren in September.

"Thank you for always making me feel loved and never ending a convo (sic) without saying it, thank you for believing in me and always being there for me," Ms Gibson posted.

Ms Cosgrove's three children - who include teenage twin boys - are being comforted by relatives.

Principal of St Colm's High School Adrian Walsh, where one of her son's Thomas was a pupil, said support measures had been put in place.

"The entire Cosgrove family are in our thoughts and prayers," he added.

Funeral arrangements for the couple have yet to be finalised.
