A drink-driver was this morning found to be five times over the legal limit, according to police.

The female motorist was breathalysed in the early hours following a call from a member of the public, according to a post on Facebook by Craigavon PSNI.

The driver was found to have a measurement of 168 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

"Pretty sure that's the highest roadside breath test result I've heard of in this district," the Facebook post said.

"The consequences, had we not had that phone call, don't bear thinking about. Well done that caller.

"This is just the latest in several over the weekend. Some detected by our crews, some phoned in by you.

"Suffice to say, she's now been charged to court.

"It is NEVER worth it. If you see it, report it. The message clearly isn't getting through quickly enough to some."
