Detectives from the Terrorism Investigation Unit have charged a 45-year old man with offences under the Charities Act.
The Co Armagh man has also been reported for a number of theft, fraud and perjury offences which relate to the same investigation.
The charges are thought to be linked to a Lurgan-based youth charity that was under investigation by the Charities Commission since March of last year.
The man will appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court on June 26.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
