GAME of Thrones fans you are in for a treat.

An exhibition, which provides the strongest tangible connection to the hit fantasy series has just arrived in Belfast and is worth a visit, even if you're not a 'Thronee'.

The largest immersive Game of Thrones experience anywhere in the world is in the city for three months as part of a touring exhibition and features a varied mix of costumes, props, sets and interactive activities.

If you're a fan of the show, like myself, you will marvel at the sets, including the crypts of Winterfell and the enormous dragon skulls, both of which are new for Belfast, while young and old alike can enjoy simulating the 700ft climb up the ice wall or see their mug on the infamous wall of faces.

For those who recognise Jon Snow solely as the Channel 4 journalist and not the valiant hero of the north, there is also something for you.

So many of the costumes are genuine works of art, while the attention to detail on sets for the seven seasons of the show are a sight to behold, albeit

it can at times be challenging to see in the dark setting.

Belfast actor Ian Beattie said he "guarantees" anyone who is not a fan will leave the exhibition and start watching the show and it is difficult to argue.

This is a never before seen look at a TV phenomenon that has thrust Northern Ireland into the international spotlight.

Who will sit on the Iron Throne on May 19 remains a mystery, but one thing is for sure, fans will not be disappointed by what is a wonderful insight into the world of Westeros and a fitting legacy.

The exhibition will run at Titanic Exhibition Centre from April 11 until September 1, with tickets £15 for adults and £10 for children (5-12).
