A 32-year-old man has been charged with the murder of east Belfast loyalist Ian Ogle.

The man, who was arrested in Manchester Airport on Sunday, is to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow.

He is thought to have been returning from Thailand through Manchester airport when he was detained.

One person has already been charged in connection with the murder of the 45-year-old, who was stabbed and beaten to death close to his Cluan Place home on Sunday January 27.

Police believe members of the UVF were involved in the murder of the father-of-two.
