POLICE are investigating racist graffiti in Craigavon.

A spokesman said it was reported that a number of flats in the Moyraverty Centre area had graffiti painted on them some time between 4am and 7.10am on Thursday.

It has since been removed.

Police said they are also investigating a report of criminal damage at the same location at around 12.25am today.

"It was reported a substance was thrown at the front door of a flat in the area.

"We are investigating a link between both incidents, which are both being treated as hate crimes".
