IRISH pop group Boyzone performed in Belfast on Wednesday night as part of their Thank You and Goodnight farewell tour.

Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating and Keith Duffy treated fans at the SSE Arena to songs from their latest album as well as classic tracks from their 25 years together.

The performances follow the release in November of the nineties boy band's final album, Thank You and Goodnight.

Among the crowds of devoted fans enjoying the concert were Mid and East Antrim council mayor Lindsay Millar and former Stormont justice minister Claire Sugden.

UUP councillor Ms Millar, who shared a photo on Twitter of the pair in their Boyzone T-shirts, tweeted: "T-shirts on and ready for the boyz!"

Boyzone will continue their tour on Thursday night in Dublin's 3Arena.

Of their farewell tour, the boys said: "Twenty-five years is a long time. We're certainly not boys anymore, and we all feel that we should now call time on our lives together as Boyzone and go out on a real high."
