POLICE have said they are "not looking for anyone else" in connection with an incident in Derry during which a man suffered stab injuries.

It happened at around 6.20pm on Saturday in the Foyle Street area of the city.

A man aged in his thirties was taken to hospital for treatment for a suspected stab wound although police said his injuries "are not believed to be life-threatening".

A spokesman added: "At this stage, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident".
