POLICE have seized a cattle prod after reports it was being used to poke Co Tyrone pedestrians from a passing vehicle.

PSNI officers in Omagh said they took the item last night after reports that a number of people in the town had been 'prodded'.

Details of the incident were posted on PSNI Omagh's Facebook page.

Police say enquiries are ongoing.
