Digger used to steal ATM from shop

A digger has been used to steal a cash machine from a shop in Co Tyrone

A DIGGER was used to steal a cash machine from a Co Tyrone shop at the weekend.

Police said the 'built in' ATM was stolen from the premises on Tattymoyle Road in Fintona at about 3am on Saturday.

The digger was stolen from a nearby building site and was set alight next to the shop after the robbery.

 

The shop, Hegarty's SuperValu, posted a message on Facebook after the theft saying "considerable damage" had been caused.
