Belfast city centre echoed to the roar of a Formula One car driven by one of the sport's biggest names on Saturday.

David Coulthard was behind the wheel of the high-powered vehicle as it made three runs past Belfast City Hall on Saturday evening, reaching speeds of up to 125 miles per hour. Ahead of the spectacle, the RB8 car was on display during the afternoon at Donegall Place, allowing fans to get a close-up look.

The Red Bull Racing F1 Showrun event also featured performances by motorcycle stunt rider Mattie Griffith, along with NI superbike riders Jeremy McWilliams and Ryan Farquhar, while global drifting star Conor Shanahan also put on a show for gathered crowds.
