A TEENAGE girl has been found dead in south Belfast.

The girl, understood to be 15, was found on wooded ground at Burnside Park in the Four Winds area yesterday morning.

It is thought she had been missing since Halloween night on Wednesday.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death.

However, it is believed no crime is suspected.

A post mortem is due to be carried out within the next few days.

A spokesman for the Ambulance Service said it received a call of an unconscious person at around 11.40am yesterday.

"One paramedic officer and one rapid response paramedic were despatched to the incident," he said.

"No one was transported from the scene."
