POLICE are investigating a suspected link between four incidents in Co Antrim.

Shortly before midnight on Wednesday, police were called to a report of a disturbance at a licenced premises on Ballymoney Street in Ballymena.

It is believed five men who were denied entry to the bar began throwing bricks and bottles.

At around 3am, windows were smashed at property on Market Road in the town.

Just before 5am, a man used a baseball bat to smash the windows of a car in the Dicksons Hill area. Police said the man escaped in a red car which had others on-board.

In addition, police said damage was also caused to the windows of a house in Glenshesk Drive.

A PSNI spokesman said: "We believe all these incidents are linked and would be keen to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened or could shed further light on those involved."
