Tell us your memories of the border

The possible return of checkpoints across the border has been one of the main sticking points in the Brexit negotiations. Picture by Pacemaker

The UK is due to leave the European Union on March 2019.

With fears around the future of the border, The Irish News is running a series of articles on the frontier.

Did you live on the border during the Troubles? What are your memories of that time?

Do you remember a pre-Troubles border? What are your memories of how people managed customs posts and other issues at that time? Do you have any photographs?

We will use a selection of your comments in an article therefore we ask that you include your full name and where you are from, although this is not compulsory.
