Cyclist Timmy Little dies after weekend Dunmurry crash

A CYCLIST who was hit by a car in the outskirts of west Belfast at the weekend has died.

Timmy Little (45) from Limavady, Co Derry was struck by the vehicle on the Glenside Road in Dunmurry. The collision happened shortly before 8.30am on Sunday.

The air ambulance and two accident and emergency crews attended the scene. The helicopter landed on Donegal Celtic’s football pitch to gain access.

Mr Little was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital with serious injuries and died earlier today.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash and have encouraged witnesses or anyone who may have captured dashcam footage to get in touch by calling 101.
