Four arrested in dissident probe released

Arrests were made following searches in Tyrone and Armagh

Four people arrested yesterday by police investigating dissident republican activity have been released.

A PSNI spokesman said a 55-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man have been freed unconditionally.

Searches were carried out in Counties Tyrone and Armagh yesterday morning.

Properties in Drumquin, Benburb and Armagh were searched and items seized.
