The motorcyclist who died in a collision in Portadown last night was 22-year-old Nathan Doran, police have confirmed.

Mr Dorran was from the Lurgan area. He died when his motorcycle was in collision with a white Ford Focus on Dobbin Road.

The accident was reported to police shortly before 10.30pm.

SDLP MLA Dolores Kelly extended her deepest sympathies to Mr Doran's family and friends.

“The sobering news this morning that a man has died following a motorcycle crash last night has shocked the local community," she said.

“My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with this man’s family and friends at this terrible time. I have no doubt that local people will rally around and offer whatever support they can.”
