Balloo Inns win top hospitality award
BALLOO Inns, the company who own the 19th century coaching inn at Balloo House in Killinchy, Co Down have been awarded a top accolade at this year's prestigious Georgina Campbell Awards.
Ronan and Jennie Sweeney, who own the popular dinning pub, along with The Poacher's Pocket in Lisbane and the The Parson's Nose in Hillsborough, won the Hospitality Hero award at the Dublin held event.
Hideaway of the year award, was given to Dunnanelly Country House in Crossgar, Co Down, which the judges described as "an absolute gem".
Th Atmospheric restaurant of the year, went to the Walled City Brewery in Derry, which houses the first craft brewery in the city centre for over 100 years, with guesthouse of the year awarded to family run Blackwell House in Scarva, Co Armagh.
