Police say there may be a link between two robberies in different counties over the weekend.

On Saturday masked men armed with a baseball bat broke into a house in the Dublin Road area of Omagh in Co Tyrone.

A man was tied up before the property was ransacked before the gang made off with cash and jewellery.

The incident took place after four masked men armed with knives tied a man up during a robbery at Gardiners Cross Road in Maguiresbridge, Co Fermanagh, on Friday evening.
