Man remanded in custody on alleged rape of woman this summer

A 28-year-old man has been remanded in custody on charges including rape, which relate to the alleged attack on a woman during the summer.

Along with the sexual offence, Jason Magerr from Hillview Park, Enniskillen, is accused of two counts of unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on the woman, and threatening to kill her.

It is also alleged he brandished a knife with intent to commit the rape on July 31.

Enniskillen Magistrates Court heard that the accused denies all charges.

District Judge Michael Ranahan remanded Mr Magerr remanded in custody to appear again by video-link later this month.
