RHI inquiry live: 'There would not have been great enthusiasm for an offer of working for Jonathan Bell'
FORMER special adviser Timothy Cairns is giving evidence to the RHI inquiry today.
Mr Cairns was the special adviser to former DUP enterprise minister Jonathan Bell and has made claims about Mr Bell's behaviour, including that he threatened to break his adviser's finger and on one occasion was told to leave a New York bar because he was 'clearly intoxicated'.
Mr Bell strenuously denied Mr Cairn's allegations at the RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) inquiry last week and claimed he was the victim of a "smear campaign".
