Derry Girls return for second series of record-breaking show

Dylan Llewellyn will join the rest of the cast of Derry Girls for the filming of the second series of the show next month.

The cast and crew of record-breaking television comedy Derry Girls returns to Northern Ireland next month to begin filming for the second series of the show.

Erin, Orla, Michelle, Clare and James (Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell and Dylan Llewellyn) will begin filming at locations in Derry and Belfast for the second series which is expected to be broadcast in the new year.

Llewellyn, who plays Michelle's English cousin “the week English fella” is also to present Derry's Fashion Fest fashion show in Derry on October 13. The actor said he enjoyed filming the first series and was looking forward to his return to Derry.

“The nightlife is just amazing over there. I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to seeing a bit more when I get back,” he said.
