Two men charged after cyclist knocked off bike and attacked

TWO men in their twenties have been charged after a cyclist was knocked off his bike and kicked and punched in Belfast city centre.

The men, aged 22 and 28, are to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court today charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.

The charges come after the cyclist, also in his twenties, suffered a head injury in the attack near the junction of Waring Street and Victoria Street at around 2.30pm on Monday.
