A 42-year-old man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court sitting in Omagh charged with a robbery in the Strathfoyle area of the city on Saturday.
Brian McCool of Cranog Park in Strathfoyle is charged with the robbery of £6,000 from a shop on July 14.
He also faced charges of assault and possessing a knife on the same date.
McCool was remanded in custody to appear again on August 8.
