Details of Twelfth parades across Northern Ireland

A TOTAL of 17 Orange Order parades are being held on the Twelfth, as well as a number of feeder parades.

Co Armagh:

The main parade is due to take place in the village of Loughgall. It will commence at 9.30am, headed by the County Grand Lodge Officers. The return parade is scheduled to commence at 3pm.

Belfast:

Belfast Orange Hall, at Carlisle Circus, at 10am. 60 bands are expected to parade. It will pass through the city centre on a six-mile route to Barnett Demesne. The return parade is due to leave the field and proceed towards the city centre at 4.15pm.

Co Fermanagh:

Brookeborough - 90 lodges and 70 bands are expected to parade from the Lisnaskea Road at 11.30am.

Co Tyrone:

Stewartstown - 70 lodges and 50 bands are expected to parade at 12.15pm from the Coagh Road.

Castlederg - Fifty-six lodges and 50 bands are expected to parade from Mitchell Park on the Lower Strabane Road at 12.30pm. The return parade will leave the field at 4.30pm.

Ballygawley - 20 lodges are expected to parade at 12.15pm from Ballygawley Presbyterian Church.

Co Derry:

Derry City - 40 bands are expected to parade at 11.30am from the Glendermott Road. The return parade is due to commence at 4.15pm.

Garvagh - 60 bands and 2,000 Orangemen are expected to parade at 12 noon from Ballynameen Avenue.

Co Down:

Newtownards. 40 lodges and over 30 marching bands are expected to parade at 11.30am.

Newcastle - Thousands of members of the Orange Institution, and approximately 70 bands are expected to parade at 12 noon from Donard Park.

Donaghcloney - More than100 lodges and around 80 bands are expected to parade at 12 noon from Moygannon Road.

Co Antrim:

Ballyclare - 70 lodges and 40 bands are expected to parade at 11am from the Sixmilewater Leisure Centre on the Ballynure Road.

Ballymena - 30 lodges and 15 bands are expected to parade at 12.30pm from the town fire station.

Aghalee - 30 bands and more than 2,000 people are expected to parade at 11.30am from the Soldierstown Road.

Rasharkin - Over 40 lodges and 2,000 people are expected to parade at 1pm from the Finvoy Road.

Broughshane - 11 lodges, 300 Orangemen and nine bands are expected to parade at 12 noon from the Tullymore Road.

Portglenone - The parade is expected to start at 12.45pm from Chesney Crescent in Co Derry and proceeds through the village, over the Bann Bridge into Co Antrim. This is the only Twelfth demonstration in Northern Ireland which crosses a county border during the parade.
