Two men held following arrests by Paramilitary Crime Task Force

Police were last night continuing to question two men aged 36 and 49 on suspicion of possession of criminal property

TWO men aged 36 and 49 are being questioned by police on suspicion of possession of criminal property.

The men were arrested after officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force stopped and searched two vehicles on the M1 eastbound, shortly before midnight on Thursday.

A large quantity of cash was seized.

A PSNI spokesman said: "A number of searches are ongoing in the west Belfast and Fermanagh areas".
