Man (61) admits to causing tractor enthusiast's death in crash

A 61-YEAR-OLD man has admitted causing the death of popular vintage tractor enthusiast Victor Wylie.

Ivan Davison, of Dunmore Park, Cookstown, Co Tyronem was due to stand trial for his involvement in the crash on the A29 Moneymore Road on July 17 2015.

But he entered a guilty plea at Dungannon Crown Court yesterday after a lesser charge of causing death by careless driving was accepted by the prosecution.

Mr Wylie died when his tractor collided with a Honda 4x4 driven by Davison.

Davison was remanded on bail to appear in court again next month.
