THE PSNI is investigating an allegation that former football coach, paedophile Barry Bennell, abused a boy in Co Antrim in 1990.
Police said last night a 40-year-old man had reported in November 2016 that he had been abused.
"PSNI officers are investigating this complaint and are continuing to work in conjunction with colleagues from the Cheshire Constabulary," he said.
It is understood the abuse happened when Bennell took a team from Crewe Alexandra to the Milk Cup.
In February, Bennell (64) was found guilty of 43 charges of historical child sexual abuse.
