Police investigate cause of sudden Co Antrim death

A post mortem is to be carried out into the circumstances of a sudden death of a man aged in his 20s in the Crumlin area of Co Antrim.

Named locally as Jay Bram, he was discovered at his home in Orchard Hill in the village yesterday (TUE) afternoon.

Mr Bram was reported to have been assaulted during an altercation in the village at the weekend and suffered a number of blows to his head, however, it is not known if this was a contributing factor in his sudden death.

A spokesman for the PSNI said: "Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man, aged in his 20’s, whose body was discovered at a property in the Orchard Hill area of Crumlin.

"A post mortem examination will take place in due course to determine the cause of death.

"There are no further details at this time", the police spokesman added.
