A MOTHER of Dragons, a dwarf, Grey Worm and a Night Watchman walk into a bar...

Patrons of Belfast's oldest traditional Irish pub may have thought bar staff were serving particularly strong drinks on Saturday night when four familiar faces from the biggest fantasy TV show in the world rolled in for some stout and white wine shortly after 10pm.

A picture of the Game of Thrones crew captured four cast members and two of the producers enjoying a drink in the upstairs bar at Kelly's Cellars.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys `Mother of Dragons' Targaryen; Jacob Anderson, who appears as Grey Worm - commander of the Unsullied; Kit Harington, who portrays the charismatic Jon Snow; and Peter Dinklage, who plays the popular Tyrion Lannister, all braved the snow to call into the city centre pub.

The photograph was published by Kelly's Cellar's on Twitter yesterday, with the message: "As you may have noticed, Winter Is Coming. Or Coming Back. Or whatever."

It is a reference to the line used in publicity for the show - `Winter is Coming' is the motto of the House of Stark.

"But whatever it is, it was a pleasure to welcome some of the cast of Game of Thrones yesterday evening," it continued.

"Because that's what they do. They drink. And they know things."
