MANY lecturers at Queen's University Belfast are to take part in 13 days of strike action, starting later this month.

Staff who are members of the University and College Union (UCU) are to take industrial action in a row over pensions.

UCU members at Ulster University have already decided to strike.

Union members have been instructed not to work on February 22 and 23.

The strike will continue on February 26, 27 and 28.

Further strike action is planned for eight days during the start of March.
