A man and a woman will appear in court following an investigation into child sex abuse which lead to a series of charges against the pair.
A house in Newcastle, Co Down, was subjected to a search on Tuesday.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Detectives have charged a 58-year-old male and a 57-year-old female with a number of offences, including gross indecency with a child, aiding and abetting gross indecency with a child, incitement to commit an act of gross indecency, indecent assault, making indecent images of children, possession of indecent images of children and distribution of indecent images of children.
They are set to appear before Downpatrick Magistrates Court this morning.
