POLICE investigating the murder of Co Tyrone woman Charlotte Murray were yesterday given a further 36 hours to question a suspect.

A 46-year-old man was arrested in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, on Monday morning on suspicion of killing the 34-year-old.

Ms Murray, originally from Omagh but living in the Moy area, has not been seen since she was reported missing in May 2013.

The arrest came after police searched woodland and open ground in the Moy.

Officers also seized a computer and several phones during the search of a house and business in the village earlier this month.
