THE body of a man has been recovered from Derry’s River Foyle.

The body was recovered near the city's council offices at around 10.30am yesterday, after a man was seen entering the river from the Foyle Bridge on October 13.

A police spokesman said: “A post mortem is due to be carried out in due course. However, the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
