A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a gun attack on a young family's home in Larne and a hijacking in the Craigyhill area.

The 23-year-old, who was arrested in the town this morning, is also being held on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, hijacking and aggravated vehicle taking.

He remains in police custody.

Earlier this week another man appeared in court on charges related to the attack.

Police have said the incident is linked to a loyalist feud.
