Man stabbed in north Belfast attack

TWO men and a woman have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the back in north Belfast.

It happened on Antrim Road close to the junction with Duncairn Avenue at around 8.30am today.

Police said an "altercation between a number of people" was reported to them.

"A man, aged in his thirites, was taken to hospital for treatment to two puncture wounds to his back after he was stabbed," a PSNI spokesman said.

Two men, aged 19 and 20, and an 18-year-old woman were arrested a short time later.
