A CO Tyrone takeaway could face a £60,000 fine after three employees were found to be illegal workers.

Immigration officials visited The Original Golden Bowl on Milburn Street, Cookstown, on July 29.

Three workers, a 51-year-old woman and two men aged 54 and 45, all from China, were found to have come into the UK illegally.

The workers have been detained and are expected to be deported.

The takeaway has been warned it could be fined £20,000 per illegal worker unless it can demonstrate appropriate document checks were carried out.
