A bonfire built on the other side of the road from a petrol station in Carrickfergus has been set alight early.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) confirmed that it had attended the scene at Prince Andrew Way at its junction with Love Lane at 4.35am today.
NIFRS said two engines from Carrickfergus spent almost an hour tackling the blaze and remained at the scene until 9.20am to monitor the situation.
There had been concerns that the towering pyre appeared to be leaning to one side in recent days.
