A MAN in his thirties has been shot in the ankle in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast.
The man was shot in Iris Court off the Springfield Road. The shooting was reported to police at about 2.20pm on Friday.
He was taken to hospital for treatment although his injury is not life-threatening.
Police appealed to anyone who was in the area and who noticed any suspicious activity to contact them.
