POLICE were called to the New Lodge area of north Belfast last night after a large crowd had gathered.

It is understood the crowd gathered at Victoria Parade amid concerns about anti-social behaviour in the area.

A PSNI spokeswoman said while attending the scene officers noticed a flat had been badly damaged.

Police appealed to anyone with information about the damage to contact them on 101.
