A MOTORCYCLIST injured in a crash in Co Down at the weekend has died in hospital.
The man's motorbike was in collision with a black Ford Focus car in the village of Ballymartin at around noon on Sunday.
The collision happened close to the junction with Kilkeel Road and Pat's Road.
The motorcyclist's name has not been released.
Police said the driver of the car is helping police with their inquiries.
Officers have appealed for information about the crash.
