A MAN and a woman have been treated for minor injuries after a light aircraft crashed in Castlewellan Forest Park.

The plane made an emergency landing near Dolly's Brae on the edge of the Co Down park shortly before 5pm yesterday.

The pair were able to walk away from the crashed plane.

A spokesman for the Ambulance Service said paramedics assessed the man and woman at the scene. They did not need hospital treatment.
