A TEENAGE girl was treated in hospital for a cut to her arm following an alleged stabbing on a school bus in Belfast.

The girl was on the bus travelling from Lagan College when the apparent attack happened on Ballygowan Road in Castlereagh.

Police said they are "working to establish the full circumstances of the incident at this time".

It is understood the girl's injuries were minor.
